The hockey club had cooperated with the law firm even before the Extra League arrived to Hradec Králové. “Our law firm prepared legal options for transfer of the Extra League from České Budějovice to Hradec Králové. In the end, the transfer was made in accordance with one of the options proposed. We like going to hockey games, we love hockey. In addition, we continue to cooperate with the club, providing our legal services to them,” says JUDr. Jakub Havlíček, an attorney-at-law and partner in the law firm HAVLÍČEK & PARTNERS, advokátní kancelář.

He has fond memories of the initial work related to the transfer of Extra League to the town under the White Tower. “It was necessary to bring the rules of the Czech Ice Hockey Association into accord with the rules of generally applicable legislation in the Czech Republic. Within a very short period of time, we found ways to ensure functioning of the club in Hradec Králové. We are regular fans of Hradec hockey since then,” says Jakub Havlíček.

He has been captivated by the positive atmosphere at the stadium during hockey matches. “When the team is losing, fans do not boo but cheer the team up to play better. I remember a defeat by Kometa Brno when the whole stadium was applauding to the very end,” says attorney Jakub Havlíček.
